These new 'milk bombs' combine the benefits of regular bath bombs with those of a milk bath. Milk contains an alpha hydroxy acid called 'lactic acid'. You have probably heard of getting lactic acid peels from your dermatologist or spa. This is because lactic acid acts as a gentle exfoliant, helping to remove dead cells from the surface of your skin. Exfoliation is the key to healthy supple skin. Like my standard bath bombs, these also contain sweet almond oil and cocoa butter which act as gentle moisturizers for your skin. However, a large portion of this bomb is made of powdered milk. You will get the fizzing action of a regular bath bomb with the added benefit of lactic acid. I recommend soaking for about 20 minutes to allow the milk to work its magic. Your skin will feel very soft afterwards and with regular use you will notice an even greater result! They are available in any scent, but I highly recommend the Malted Milk scent design, which is shown in the picture above! The scent is absolutely delightful! NEW Labels at Doctor Sweet Tooth!!!

Well, about 14 months have passed using the same label design, and after much thought I decided to make some changes! While I constantly get emails from all of you about how much you love my labels, I decided that I needed to switch to a label that is more appealing to a wider customer base. The graphics will not change, but I have switched to a more standardized font and added my trademark symbol to the label. I still have a lot of my old labels left, but as I run out the new labels will replace the old! With in the next couple of months all of my products will have the new label design! I hope that everyone likes them! Let me know what you think :)

NEW "Zero Gravity" Whipped Soaps at Doctor Sweet Tooth!
Believe it or not I discovered this wonderful new recipe by accident when I was whipping up a batch of cupcake soaps. I mistakenly forgot to add liquid glycerin to the mixture, which makes the cupcake "frosting" soft and manageable, and I ended up piping the mixture into a soap mold instead of onto the cupcake soaps. I figured that I would cut the bar up to send the chunks as samples with my packages. Well, I soon discovered that the bar hardened enough to hold its shape rather nicely, and being curious, I decided to take the bar into the shower with me! "Zero Gravity" soaps are available at www.doctorsweettooth.com!

Being the 'sweet tooth' that I am, I found myself doing a search of the word 'cupcake' on Etsy a couple of weeks ago. I am not sure what I was looking for exactly. I happened to come upon a little shop that sells hand-knitted & crocheted accessories called Nini's Handmades. I immediately fell in love with the little yellow cupcake pouch in the upper right hand photo. I purchased it and just a few days later it arrived in my mailbox. I was having a bad day, which all changed as soon as I opened the package. Not only was the pouch adorable, the craftsmanship was amazing. I immediately transfered my money, cell phone and credit cards from my Coach wristlet into the cupcake pouch. I then went straight to my computer and asked Nini if she could make a purse and makeup bag that matched. She was happy to do this for me and less than a week later the bags arrived! Since then, I have also purchased the other pouches in the photo. I adore all of them and the only problem is that I can never make up my mind which one to use each day! Already I have had several people ask me 'where on earth did you get that?'. I love her products so much that we are currently teaming up to offer you beautiful new gift sets (which I will announce very shortly). Nini's products are not only very reasonably priced, but she could quite possibly be the sweetest person that I have ever delt with. Nini even donates 10% of all sales to charity! Please check out her etsy site: Nini's Handmades.

The Black Apple!
I have always been very picky when it comes to choosing artwork to hang in our home. Because of this our walls have remained mostly bare for quite a while. About 6 months ago I was browsing on www.etsy.com and happened to come across a shop called 'The Black Apple' run by a super sweet girl named Emily Martin. I am usually VERY lucky to find one piece of artwork in a gallery that I would consider purchasing for our home. When I browsed through Emily's store I had the opposite problem! I could not find a single painting that I did not want to NOT buy! I now own about 20 pieces of her work and my walls are no longer bare! I took pictures (above) of some of the pieces I have purchased that are hanging in various areas of our home. These pictures do not do her work justice. If you would like to visit Emily's store just click on the following link:The Black Apple! Apparently I am not the only one who loves The Black Apple because Emily is currently the number one seller on Etsy and was recently on the Martha Stewart show! My only problem now is that I am running out of room in our house to hang her beautiful artwork! Time to remodel :)

Hanging Scented Cupcakes!
While I was sculpting bath bomb decorations one day I decided to try something a little new to me. I molded a few cute little cupcakes out of polymer clay (which I scented in vanilla buttercream) and strung them from a wire. A formed a mini "clothes hanger" at the top, so that the cupcakes could be hung on a door knob, cabinet knob, or rear-view mirror! I was very happy with how they turned out, so I decided to add them to my store. They are somewhat time consuming to make, so currently they are available exclusively at www.doctorsweettooth.com. I have the one shown in the picture hanging from my bedroom doorknob. It looks super cute hanging there! In the near future I will be making hanging lollipops, cotton candy, icecream cones, ect. New Cupcake Soaps at Doctor Sweet Tooth!
So, I had been thinking of adding these to my site for quite a while, but FIRST I had to perfect my recipe! After many attempts to get the 'frosting' just right I finally DID IT :) My husband came home from work right after I made a batch of these and he got so excited because he thought I made him cupcakes! They look & smell so real that you will not believe your eyes! The bottom portion is made from aloe & olive oil soap. The 'frosting' on the cupcake is made using a special blend of whipped shea butter soap. I can scent these any way you like! I can even make the bottom a different scent from the 'frosting'! My favorite combination is vanilla birthday cake and buttercream frosting! I have a few of these placed in a basket in my bathroom and I just can't bare to use one!You can purchase these scrumptious soaps at www.doctorsweettooth.com!

Welcome Spring With Sunflowers!
Well, springtime is almost here! It is time to awaken from the dreary winter "blues"! That is why I recently added this cheery sunflower scented bath bomb to my collection! The fresh bright sunflower fragrance will awaken your senses & the bright lemon yellow water will make you feel like you are swimming in a sea of sunshine! The hand-shaved cocoa butter & sweet almond oil will help to make your dry winter skin a thing of the past! I know you will all enjoy this one!Saturday, March 8, 2008
Flower Bomb Perfume Review
I received the Spring 2008 New Beauty Test Tube in the mail yesterday & it contained a sample of a perfume that I have never heard of! It is called Flower Bomb by Victor & Rolf. I opened it & first smelled the scent straight from the bottle. I was not impressed. BUT, then I dabbed some on my wrists & something magical happened! I could not stop smelling my wrists for hours (yes the scent lingers for HOURS). The scent reminds me of Lolita de Lempicka, which is one of my favorite fragrances. This fragrance has top notes of Bergamot & Tea; middle notes of Jasmine Freesia & Orchid; and base notes of Rose & Patchouli. Despite all of the floral notes in this fragrance it did not smell overly flowery to me. Not since Juicy Couture have I experienced a fragrance this wonderful and unique!

Gingerbread Boy Cake!
I built this cake for my work's annual holiday party last year. This design was featured in the Wilton 2007 yearbook. It is not my own design, however, just one that I replicated. It is iced in chocolate and white homemade buttercream frosting. The cute little gingerbread boys were cut from rolled fondant. I colored the fondant using cinnamon and ginger, so they taste like real gingerbread boys! Miniature candy canes, spicy gumdrops, and rainbow sprinkles add to this eye catching design.

My Favorite Perfumes of All Time!

So, what does Doctor Sweet Tooth wear when not wearing one of her own scents? For as long as I can remember I have loved perfumes. It is impossible for me to pick an all time favorite, but after some thought I was able to compile a list of my top 6 favorite perfumes of all time:
1. Karl Lagerfeld's Sun, Moon & Stars Perfume. I have been a big fan of this one since high school. It is somewhat hard to come by now, but I did happen to find a new bottle a couple of years ago! This one brings back the memories of my "younger" years :)
2. Aquolina Pink Sugar Perfume. I can not say enough about this fun scent! I will never ever ever tire of this sweet number!
3. Betsy Johnson Perfume. To me this smells similar to Pink Sugar and I guess that is why I like it so much. I also love the bottle's unique colorful design.
4. Britney Spear's Fantasy Perfume. Although I am not a huge Britney Spears fan, I do have to admit that I love her perfumes. Midnight Fantasy almost made this list. This is another bottle that I am totally in love with!
5. Juicy Couture Perfume. This has to be one of the most unique scents that I have ever experienced! Who ever came up with this scent is pure genius! I love the long-lasting fruity scent!
6. Lolita de Lempicka. If I was forced to pick one favorite, I suppose I would choose this. I have been wearing this scent almost everyday since my husband gave it to me for Christmas! The scent is impossible to describe, but lets just say that not a day goes by with out someone asking me what I am wearing. Everyone seems to like this one! Gorgeous bottle too!

A Cake Fit For a Princess! My latest creation!
This is one of my most recent cake creations! Don't worry it is not going to topple over! I made this cake for a little girl's "princess"- themed birthday party. This three tiered 'topsy turvy' (AKA "Mad Hatter") cake is iced in white and pink homemade buttercream frosting. Pearl White and Pink Luster Dust was brushed onto the surface of each tier to create the beautiful glow! Inlaid earrings, and jewels finish off this cakes "royal" design! Total Time: 10 hours.Doctor Sweet Tooth's Signiture Wedding Cake Bath Bomb!

The sweet almond oil & hand shaved cocoa butter will leave your skin feeling soft & smooth.
These make great wedding favors, bridesmaids gifts, or wedding gifts! Or you can treat you and your love one with something that will bring back memories of that special day!
Each wedding cake decoration is baked and hardened, so you can keep the decoration for years to come!
Each bath bomb comes individually packaged in a cello-bag with confetti & a decorative tie & tag. No wrapping on your part required!
If you are interested in purchasing these as wedding favors or bridesmaids gifts and would like a custom designed label, then contact me and we can get started on your special design. I charge $6.00 for your custom design no matter how many bath bombs you order!
In addition, I can even attempt to recreate a miniature version of your own wedding cake for an extra fee of $9.50 (per order, not per bath bomb). I will just need a picture of your wedding cake!

What do you hate most about shaving?

Cuts, razor burn, and just the overall amount of time involved is what most people hate about shaving. But, not me. With the amount of money that we spend on fragrant soaps, shower gels, and scrubs, who wants to ruin their scent by applying a shaving cream that often overpowers the scent that we have spent so much on to build?
A new product that I just added to my line solves this problem once and for all! My Bath Whips function not only as a luxurious body wash, but also as a fragrant shaving cream! I have been using it myself for the past couple of weeks and I have to say that this is my favorite product of all time! Its soft fluffy texture reminds me of Cool Whip, but with out the added calories!
Doctor Sweet Tooth's Bath Whips are available in over 100 mouth watering scents, so you are sure to find the one that suites your 'tastes'!
Who knew that shaving could be so pleasant!
