These new 'milk bombs' combine the benefits of regular bath bombs with those of a milk bath. Milk contains an alpha hydroxy acid called 'lactic acid'. You have probably heard of getting lactic acid peels from your dermatologist or spa. This is because lactic acid acts as a gentle exfoliant, helping to remove dead cells from the surface of your skin. Exfoliation is the key to healthy supple skin. Like my standard bath bombs, these also contain sweet almond oil and cocoa butter which act as gentle moisturizers for your skin. However, a large portion of this bomb is made of powdered milk. You will get the fizzing action of a regular bath bomb with the added benefit of lactic acid. I recommend soaking for about 20 minutes to allow the milk to work its magic. Your skin will feel very soft afterwards and with regular use you will notice an even greater result! They are available in any scent, but I highly recommend the Malted Milk scent design, which is shown in the picture above! The scent is absolutely delightful! Milk Bombs are available at www.doctorsweettooth.com.
